Project 365: Week 26 "books, berries, gifts, & ice cream"

Sunday, June 19, 2011

Paul had a little shopping to do this afternoon and brought back "From-Daddy-Just-'Cause" gifts. Gabe got a coloring book. He set right to work. I'm telling you--it's art classes I've got to find for this kid!

Atticus was surprised by his gift...

Yes, he calls him "Die Day-vuh." I think he's got the D and the V backwards in "Vader." It's just stinkin' cute, so I had to share.  (P.S. He doesn't really know anything about Star Wars, other than what he's seen when watching Noah play the Lego game version. But for some reason he has been obsessed for quite some time. Just ask anyone he's met--ever. He tells everyone about Star Wars!)

Story time at the library

We LOVE the libary!

And...we love having ice cream with our church family.

It isn't everyday that one has cute little boys in their naptime underwear out watering one's lawn.

I'm going to enjoy it while I still can.

We've been without a vacuum for...ummm...far too long. Ours croaked. We "borrowed" Poppy's for a long time. Then we piddled around and ignored the messy floors. But finally, after a little Consumer Reports research, we placed an order. And just look what was on my doorstep today! Y'all know those Swiffer commercials where the mop is stalking the woman who has traded it in for a Swiffer? That's what this picture reminded me of. I didn't say, "Hello, Beautiful." But I was thinking it.

Noah has a new neighbor friend.

Anyone else enjoy watching these little guys?

A little family time tonight just chillin' at a local hangout.

Noah and I went pickin' today. Just the two of us. Blackberries this time.

Wore him slap out.

Me, too. Only no nap for this mommy today. That's okay. There's always tomorrow.
Be sure to stop by Sara's Project 365 to see everybody's week!

  5. I took pics of my dad's blackberries today - scrumptious! I thought about you guys the other day when he was picking blueberries too (of course, I did NOT assist in this endeavor - I'm kind of lazy).

I just also read your last Virginia post - I really enjoyed it. Especially your attempts to get a pic of the four of them - so much fun :)

I was going to tell you that the air force museum up near us is free & REALLY cool. Except, you know, it's in Ohio :)
