Today...we played.
Monday, January 2, 2012
We showed our house today, so we wandered the aisles at Wal-Mart.
And look what we found on clearance!!
(a big Zurg)
And then we rented a Wii game. Gabriel had the best time playing with his big brother. He laughed and laughed.

We've moved things around again. Got our main family computer in the kitchen now, which means we can watch Netflix in the kitchen (in case Daddy has an important game to watch in the living room). Eating simultaneously is optional.

House showing again today. Among other things, we went to Barnes and Noble to spend giftcards Noah and Saylor got for CHRISTmas. I *heart* books. WE *heart* bookstores.
And that's Week #1 for my THIRD year doing Project 365. Fun, fun. Be sure to stop by Sara's. She's the way cool blogger who puts this show on each week.
you know I love books too! at one point on vacation I looked around my parents house and all my kids were reading books...even at their age, it does a mama's heart good!!!
ReplyDeleteI have been praying about your house!!
I love the pictures from school.
ReplyDeleteAny bites at all on the house?? Hope something happens for you soon.
looks like a great start to the new year. have fun doing project 366
ReplyDeleteSooooooooooooooo many great pictures!
ReplyDeleteGlad I stopped back at Sara's and caught your post.
Like you I LUV books. Now that I am packing them up to move, I regret this. I can't believe how many we saved, recovered, cleaned, restored after the house fire. And, of course, I've acquired more since then.
Have a great week 2 of 2012!
great first week! You must have the cleanest house in town having to show it all the time....must get old, though.
ReplyDeleteLove the healthy lunch! :)
I love reading too. I get so excited when Six Flags Read to Succeed time comes around because it means that I can easily get my kids interested in all those great books they own.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pic of Gabriel & Noah after they'd been playing together - priceless :)
ReplyDeleteYou know, Walmart would be a dangerous place for me to hang out. I'd have to put myself on a budget - ha!
Hope your house sells SOON - I know this is getting old!
Books are fabulous....however they looked very fond of the Nook too! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that the bird, "floo and stopt". Best phonics EVER!!
Have a super week!!
We heart Barnes and Noble too:)
