Project 365: Week 19 "piano, picnic, & playgrounds"

Sunday, May 6, 2012

This afternoon we went to a beautifully-performed senior piano recital and a reception afterward.

They loaded up on the treats for sure!

We showed our house this morning, so we spent a little time on the playground. (Recess?)

(BACK TO SCHOOL) SCENES:

Uh...a little distracted at times, it seems.

And we had lunch under the table, at Gabriel's suggestion.

Tuesday, May 8, 2012

Tonight we were on our way to church when we met up with this:

Silly birds. We still made it in time for dinner and to hear David Sitton speak.

Wednesday, May 9, 2012

It's bright and early on Wednesday morning...and yes, as a matter of fact, THAT. is a tent pitched in my living room. With a child still sleeping in it...

SCHOOL SCENES:

She's learned Genesis through Jonah.

We are studying the states in the order in which they each became a part of the United States. Noah was looking at the map today and said it was like a disease that was spreading (across the country)...  :)

Friday, May 11, 2012

Four days of schooling after being out all last week was about all we could muster. Today we played.

Saturday, May 12, 2012

We took it easy today. Did a little driving around. Sort of scouting out the area for apartments or rental homes. Looks like we might be close to the end of our long ordeal known as house-selling. (Seriously!!) And we had lunch...with ice cream for dessert, much to Noah's delight.

Sometimes at the end of these posts I am amazed at how much we do each week. No wonder time is flying!! Sara has all the Project 365 participants linked up over at her place. Check 'em out!

  1. You guys are always busy busy. Love Noah's observation - I'm sure the Native Americans felt that way :)
