My new cousin-in-law (is that right?) emailed me the other day asking if I could describe Saylor's flower girl dress from their January wedding. She's getting stuff together for the newspaper write-up. Anyway, that got me to thinking. Gracious! I should dress Saylor up in it again (...before she grows out of it!) and get a few pictures of her. After all, she's only 4 1/2 once, and the likelihood of us ever owning a dress of this magnitude again are fairly slim, so...
Here we have a lovely young lady straight out of a fairy tale in this exquisite gown from Us Angels. The sleeveless bodice has a jeweled waistband atop ivory satin and is accentuated by a wispy organza sash.
The very full ballet-length skirt is ivory satin with a sheer organza overlay, and our model quite enjoys the swishy twirliness it promises as she walks.
Please don't miss the glimmery golden slippers by L'Amour on her delicate feet, for they are perhaps her favorite pair in the whole wide world.
They fit perfectly (as Cinderella's slippers always do) with a sweet little velvet bow tied across the top like a ballet slipper.
What are little girls made of?
Sugar and spice and everything nice.
Sugar and spice and everything nice.
That's what little girls are made of.
She is a beautiful princess - and I'm sure just as beautiful on the inside with such a precious momma!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't comment on this before because I thought her beauty spoke for itself. :)
