Week 24

We opted to spend the night last night at my parents' house. Just to give ourselves a little break from all the many and varied forms of transportation we had experienced over the past week. This morning the little boys and I enjoyed some time in Mimi's back yard.

We're all very happy to be back home...with our trampoline!
It brings out the silly in us, that's for sure.

Saylor was such a big girl today. We had to have her front tooth pulled. She bumped it on Gabriel's head about a month ago. (Yes, these things happen around here...) Her gums were still very, very sore, and we couldn't pull the tooth without her hurting a lot. So the dentist gave her a shot and got it out without the trauma. She did so well!
Tonight was yet another great concert at our church. This time we were blessed to have The Vespers.

Today we were invited to attend a birthday party at the movies for our sweet friend who is unbelievably turning 12 today!! We loved this little animated short:

We're back at the movies today. This time it's a free showing of Legend of the Guardians. I highly recommend, by the way! It's 100% CLEAN, although potentially a little too intense for younger kiddos. My little boys didn't have trouble with it, though. Another thing I LOVED about this film? NO trailers!! (Trailers are dangerous. You have no control over what your children might see. Like a scantily-clad Katie Perry, for instance. Yuck!) Not one trailer. Just a short Looney Tunes cartoon. Like the good old days. Yay!

Time for a carwash.
I'm so sneaky...got a picture of my eldest. Mwah-hah-hah!!
And now. I'm all caught up. Until tomorrow, that is. MAYBE I'll get it posted on time. MAYBE. Things are getting crazier by the minute 'round here. So don't count on it. ;)
Check out all the other P365ers over at Sara's.
LOL - love the sneaky picture of Noah.
ReplyDeleteI have a blog friend who LOVES the Vespers - she's a student at Campbell University in NC & the head of their fan club or something. I was just watching a video of theirs that she posted the other day :)
