Lest you thought my house was clean all the time...
This is pretty much the usual.

The kids heard the ice cream truck this afternoon. Oh, dear. (It's Spring Break here, which is why the truck was out hunting neighborhood children.) The Davidson kiddos scrambled around and dug through piggy banks to buy their own treats.

Gabriel is so excited to have his very own workbox system!
He's currently learning to hold his writing utensils correctly. Yay, Gabe!
I know, I know. But a mommy's gotta do something to keep a little fella educationally busy while the rest of us try to concentrate.

We uncovered our corn seeds today (on the fifth and final day of the experiment) so we could draw their progress. Pretty impressive, huh?

Today we had scones topped with pure maple cream. Oh, my!
Tonight we were having Red Beans and Rice after studying the state of Louisiana. And Noah took a bite too soon, burning both corners of his mouth. Atticus immediately said, "Oh, Noah! I toad you--you spoon is too big! You need a spoon that's small-uh!" And he literally ran to the silverware drawer as he was talking, dug around in there, and pulled out a much better choice for his big brother. Ha!

I had helpers with my soaked pancake batter this morning.

I did not take a picture today. I was too busy preparing for two house showings. Once we got out of the house, we ran errands. Nothing spectacular about that. But it's typical. Sometimes I get left behind for longer than the rest of the fam--to do the "detailing"--while Paul takes the kids somewhere I'd never take them. :) This picture is one he took last Monday when I had an appointment at the same time as our showing. (Shame, shame.)
Look at that, y'all! A one-weeker! I actually DID it!! High five to all the P365ers over at Sara's!!
Well that scone just looked fabulous - yum!
ReplyDeleteI love that you let your kids "cheat" with their own money - & that your husband aids & abets them sometimes :)
That Atticus is just TOO CUTE. Love the little spoon.
The scone looked so yummy. Your children delight me each week and I loved the spoon story. Too cute.
