Though he's a whopping three years old, it does a mommy's heart good to see that there's still some baby left in him.  ;)

The kids started a bean to sprouting in a jar earlier in the week. I thought it would make a great photography subject today.

Tonight we took Noah and Saylor to the Chris Tomlin/Louie Giglio/Christy Nockels concert here in town. Having seen Chris and Louie several times, I felt strongly that the kids needed to be there, especially since we've been learning a little bit about how vastly God created the universe, and that's Louie Giglio's thang. Here's an excerpt of Louie's presentation about recorded sounds of the stars and whales. (This one from Youtube is better than the one I made.)

"Praise Him, all you shining stars...Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,...young men and women, old men, and children. Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted, His splendor is above the earth and the heavens."  -from Psalm 148.

We were so blessed to celebrate with Cousin Emma Kate at her fourth birthday party this afternoon!

I'm once again linked up over at Sara's "make music from your heart to the Lord" blog, along with several other Project 365ers. It's a great group. Y'all should check 'em out!

  1. great pictures. that first one is precious. glad you've got your camera back, bet you feel more yourself now

  2. your camera is back!!! did you throw it a welcome home party? ;-)
christy nockles?!? good grief, that girl can sang! love her.

  3. Aw - that first picture really is sweet :)

None of his friends like oranges? Really? How sad! Now ask me the last time I ate an orange myself. Oops.

I saw your comment on Rita's post - and here's what I said, "I'll raise Lori's squalor & add in some dishevelment." I really need to make my house a priority this week!

  4. Ladies, I'm embarrassed to confess I just ran away from my mess--did not clean house before leaving for Idaho.
I am sure it will still be there when I return... Ughh...
As always, Lori, your photos are super and I like the sprout series.
Have a good rest of the week!
